Basic First Aid Training for Staff (in-person) In-Person
Formerly known as Emergency First Aid, this WSIB approved one day (7 hour) course delivers Basic First Aid, based on Canadian Red Cross program, and adult, child, infant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Level C. A review on the use of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillator) is also included. This course is available to personnel requiring first aid in the course of their work and to provide first aiders at UofG workplace locations.
| Please note: this course is restricted to personnel requiring first aid in the course of their work or those deemed in locations strategically placed across the UofG workplace, in order to support the First Aid Program and UofG Emergency responders. The course is free for full time permanent staff/faculty and restricted to full time staff/faculty at this time. If there is space, the cost for other personnel including graduate students, temporary staff and students is $100. |
