Asbestos Types 1 & 2 Worker Training (in-person) In-Person
Course Description: This course is intended for those who will perform Type 1 asbestos work operations and provides employees with instruction about the hazards of asbestos and the work procedures to follow when working with or in close proximity to asbestos-containing materials. The course also covers Type 2 asbestos work operations to inform staff about operations they are not authorized to perform.
Brief Overview: This in-person training teaches the participants about the uses and hazards of asbestos, and all aspects involved in performing these asbestos operations.
Target Audience: Employees who work with or in close proximity to asbestos-containing material and who may disturb it, their supervisors and those who contract others to do such work.
Frequency: Every 3 years.
